Lily
Challenges have not prevented Lily from becoming a top national athlete in the sport of diving. She is bright and friendly. She travels nationally for competition meets and hopes one day to dive for a college program. Born premature and addicted to methamphetamines and other drugs, Lily faced life support and feeding issues from day one. Now at nearly 13 years old, one would never guess she deals with acute cognitive dysfunction, severe ADHD, anxiety and autism spectrum disorder. She also struggles with vocal cord dysfunction and a benign heart defect and may face significant surgeries to correct them both.
